I would highly recommend this hotel for families as there are plenty of activities for kids, a modern gym facility, and the convenience of having paddle tennis on the resort property. Additionally, its location is perfect for exploring all the nearby attractions and the staff is exceptional at providing recommendations for places to visit and dine. Thank you to the great team at this hotel for making our stay memorable

The location couldn’t be better, right on the beautiful white sand beach and close to the city centre. The breakfast was wonderful and served beachside and the rooftop bar/restaurant was perfect to watch the sunset.The room was spacious and very clean, our room boy was so kind (405) and we had a balcony with a beautiful ocean view. At reception Darshana was such a help with restaurant recommendations (we used them all ) and places to visit (we visited them all). Salalah exceeded expectations with its amazing beaches, warm sea , perfect temperature and friendly people and we will definitely return to the Crowne Plaza Hotel.

I loved the location - beach front and a walking distance from a string of restaurants and walk along the sea beach. Staff was friendly, helpful and kind. The room was clean, fast wi-fi connection and comfortable bed. The facilities are super nice and convenient. Restaurants offer variety of sea food, curries, BBQ and international cuisines. Ee booked snorkeling and diving from the hotel. Amazing experience and a nice break. Unique ambience and relaxing atmosphere. I would definitely come back, and recommend to others.

Many people mentioned in the comments that this is too old and that the hotel needs renovation. I disagree, there is a difference about being old and respecting the traditions, heritage, and atmosphere of the country. That’s why give this hotel. It is not 100% modern, yes, but neither is Salalah, and I prefer that natural touch that doesn’t make me feel in a bubble when I enter the hotel. The staff is more than great, everything is very clean and comfortable. I recommend 100%!

The staff were friendly and accommodating. We went for a family vacation and celebrated my wife's birthday on our trip. The hotel made her day extra special with their personalised touch. The hotel is conveniently located near the beach and near the Frankincense Museum. It was a family friendly hotel in the sense that it had a play area for children indoors and outdoors. There was always a lifeguard available in the pool area. Furthermore, the hotel also had gift shops and a tour operator in the lower level which was convenient for organising sightseeing tours.

Our 1st time in Oman. We have spent beautiful & relaxed week in this wonderful hotel with perfect services, professional and supporrive staff. Every single Crowne team member went above and beyond to en-sure our stay was not only enjoyable but truly unforgettable. Congratulation to such employees! Greetings to Rowena who took great care of us during breakfast. The beach is calm here, not crowded at all, sand soft, ocean clear and warm. We wish to come back.
